Impact Safety Offers One Day First Aid and CPR Training Course on October 21st. Enroll Now

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Oct. 12, 2022 – PRLog — Impact Safety, the leading organization offering workplace safety training, will provide First Aid, CPR, and AED Training Course on October 21st. The course provides students with in-depth training to respond to common first aid emergencies, including head/neck/back injuries, cuts and burns, and other major life-threatening emergencies like cardiac issues and breathing difficulties.

Employers must ensure that designated people are trained in First Aid, CPR, and AED for immediate and appropriate care for workplace injuries or medical conditions. According to studies, prompt CPR can triple the chances of surviving a heart attack. First responders typically arrive between 8 and 12 minutes after receiving a 911 call. This delayed emergency response reduces the victim’s chances of survival. This is why first aid training is so crucial in the workplace.

The one-day course will be conducted on October 21st, 2022. It will teach students how to use automated external defibrillators, a portable, lifesaving device used to treat people experiencing cardiac arrest. Students learn how to treat burns and cuts and adequately handle a victim in the event of a head, neck, or back injury to prevent further damage. The combination of CPR and early defibrillation saves lives when used in the first few minutes following the collapse from cardiac arrest.

Speaking about the course, the spokesperson at Impact Safety quoted, “One of the most noticeable advantages of workplace safety training and CPR training is a reduction in workplace accidents. Employees who receive first aid training gain valuable knowledge that will enable them to be more vigilant. This increased level of safety awareness will result in less risky behavior and greater adherence to health and safety protocols.”

This course is recommended for anyone interested in learning these lifesaving skills for medical emergencies. Following successful completion of the course, an Osha safety certification will be issued. The certificate will expire after two years.
