Hands-on Fire Extinguisher Training

Proper fire extinguisher training is critical to give employees the confidence to react quickly in a fire emergency. It is important to train employees to familiarize them with all of the risks and responsibilities associated with fire-fighting and to allow them to use a fire extinguisher and discharge it on a large fire. Our portable fire extinguisher training can help employees to act swiftly when faced with an actual fire in the workplace.

Our professional trainers will educate employees on the basics of fire extinguisher locations, proper procedures, common fire hazards, safe evacuation routes, and more.

Outline of the portable fire extinguisher training course:

• The half-day course focuses on how to extinguish an incipient fire using a portable fire extinguisher. 
• Train students to operate portable fire extinguishers using a state-of-the-art system that simulates the different fire classifications. 
• Each participant will use an extinguisher to suppress an actual or simulated fire using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep). 
• Each participant will also learn when not to use a fire extinguisher.
