40-Hour First Responder Training

Certified first responder training is our 5-day course to train individuals who are to arrive at an accident or scene of a medical emergency. As a crucial part of the emergency medical assistance team, a first responder quickly assesses emergency situations, calls an ambulance, and administers first aid. They must be able to remain calm in the midst of an emergency.

Details of the Certified first responder training course:

  • Train individuals to offer efficient and accurate pre-hospital care. 
  • Offer training to assess patients for wounds and determine if trauma, shock, burns, or closed airways are a problem as an emergency medical technician (EMT).
  • Learn how to give emergency medical care by dressing wounds, stabilizing the person, and/or administering oxygen. 

 Who should take this course:

This advanced-level course is ideal for someone who has the potential to be the first on the scene to emergency cases dealing with serious medical emergencies, such as law enforcement and firefighters. Certification will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
