Hands-on Fire Extinguisher

This half-day course focuses on how to extinguish an incipient fire using a portable fire extinguisher. Students will learn how to operate portable fire extinguishers using a state of the art system that simulates the different fire classifications. Each participant will use an extinguisher to suppress an actual or simulated fire using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep). Students will also learn when not to use a fire extinguisher. This course is great for any and all workers. Certification will be issued upon successful completion of course.
