SUMMARY:Excavation Competent Person
DESCRIPTION:This one day course will provide students with the information and training required to become a competent person who will support compliance with OSHA regulations on the site. The students will learn to identify existing and predictable hazards in surroundings\, and working condition which are unsanitary\, hazardous\, or dangerous to employees. Competent persons must be authorized to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate these hazards. This course is ideal for supervisor level workers that will perform certain activities or safety procedures at a construction site that require design\, inspection\, or supervision by a competent person. Certification will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
